We have had so much rain that pine seedlings are popping up everywhere in numbers I have never seen before - deck, gravel driveway, lawn, etc. I couldn't wait 30 year so I harvested yesterday. ;D

A customer brought me some logs to saw yesterday about like that  :D.

We got the same thing here in East TX.  It raining every 3 days will do that.  They are coming up in the middle of our gravel driveway.
