Hey I am almost 1000..ALREADY?

Looked down today and see I am almost 1000 post into this jungle

I just looked back (thanks to our new SUPER search!) at the subjects and discussions I have been able to have here.....and reading them warms my heart....you all are ALL RIGHT!
Now dont get me wrong..... I dont want to go shopping for curtains with ya....but I often tell stories about my FRIENDS...and kinda catch myself thinking, "I never met DanG yet!"
Still you all are my friends and I appreciate ya!!
I started on the net as all probably do ......a tad bit skeptical and on guard....but this unique occurance here has won me over..in short order 8)
BUT 1000 posts ..that has GOT to be EXCESSIVE!!!

Yea, this is a pretty cool place isn't it. I find myself talking about my "friend" did this or that only to realize that I have never even met this friend in person. :D It is great. 8)

Patty your right in that a very cool place to be more like a home then a forum and every one treats ya like family .
Buzz does that mean that after a 1000 the next 1000 is reached a whole lot faster 8)

I am in Illinois but ........I would make sure that little dude Jeff ate grits before I got grumpy with him...(would weaken his demeanor and stamina)
Hes like a tree ya see from the distance .they are always bigger when ya stand next to them ;)

Now Jeff could change to a different number base system, say 12 or 20 and you wouldn't have 1000 yet. But then again he could use the binary system and you could have many thousands, (never could think in the binary system), so I don't know what 1000 is in base 2.

Well, Buzz...you're at 1000...and this post is my 500th! 8) I was thinking of where to post my 500th post...and this seemed the perfect place. I just hope with adding numbers of posts...my wisdom somehow will improve too! :

I'd say most of my 500 posts are just silly posts, but that's the nice thing about the FF--anyone and everyone's welcome to toss their two cents into the ring! I used to be just a sideliner, lurking and learning. I figure I keep learning, but it's nice to be towards the front now, instead of peering past people trying to see what's goin' on around the woodstove! ;D Thanks to y'all for making this what it is! You ever think about when you're at 10K, Buzz? Just imagine where Tom and Jeff'll be! :D

Hmm...I think I'll go grab a piece of cheesecake to celebrate! ;)
