So after much though I broke out my wallet and bought a new wood splitter. It's a American brand with all the options,  including pans on the end for re splits or ti guide the wood onto a conveyor. Also has the log lift which I really like saves my back so much and is good for staging rounds for splitting.  I also ordered a six way wedge but will only use that on good clear wood. So far I like it and it is a step up from my huskey for sure.

Good for you  smiley_thumbsup
Hope it comes with a real Honda.
Make sure you know how to fall properly when you fall and as to not hurt anyone around you.
Also remember, it's not the fall what hurts, its the sudden stop. !!

Lopet it sure did starts first pull every time. Now I'm in search for a dump truck!

Looks like a Timber Wolf? I used one when I worked for a guy. Got a conveyor? He had one and a dump trailer. That was easier than the way I do it.

Cfarm it is a American brand splitter, as of right now no conveyor or dump truck doing it the hard way loading and unloading by hand out of the pickup.

I got my six way wedge today for it and I must say it works good. Makes perfect size firewood out of ten to 14 diameter rounds, one push through and in the truck.  So far I'm really liking this splitter says my back and can make firewood in short order.

So just an update,  the new wood splitter is working out very well and has definitely boosted the amount of wood I can produce in a day. My back has been feeling so much better now that I'm not lifting heavy blocks.  Might be getting a nice older chevy dump truck with plow to this Saturday fingers crossed.

good luck with it   we had an older ford 1ton low profile dump that was nice didn't have to lift things to high  for a conveyer we had 2 one was for hay the other was made from a barn cleaner that was put on a small trailer   both worked good

I used to has a old '86 ford f350 with the 460 engine.  Was a good truck but kept blowing the c6 trans. I built my own conveyor from scratch it was a very productive combo. This chevy is supposed to be  in pretty good shape and with a plow I should have no down time this winter.
