I have a c5d Treefarmer skidder and I am looking run a forwarding trailer off it.
How would I rig up a hydraulic outlet off the skidder's hydraulic pump? And where would I install the controls on the skidder.

Welcome to the FF.
I think the easiest way would be to t of a power beyond unit of the blade valve. Find out which is pressure and which is return, add some ball valves  so you can flip them that the oil circulates through your loader controls and when you're not using the loader you can flip them back for the blade controls.
If you're thinking of running the controls out of your cage you're probably gonna regret that. There is just not enough elbow and knee room unless you're moving the hydraulic oil tank to the right side.
Just my thoughts.
Make sure you know how to fall properly when you fall and as to not hurt anyone around you.
Also remember, it's not the fall what hurts, its the sudden stop. !!

Look at the hydraulic spool valve(s) currently plumbed into your OEM skidder circuity.  See if any have a power beyond port.  If so you buy a PB plug kit and feed from there to your loader, and run a line from your loader exhaust port back to your reservoir.

Using a PB setup ensures you wont have full pressure applied to the exhaust side of any spools because each valve maintains its own exhaust circuit.  If you put two valves in series without a PB the upstream one will generate full pressure on the exhaust side of the valve.  Some dont like it, some dont mind.   The biggest risk is stacking differential relief valves.  Can cause things to go boom. When you have valves plumbed in series you dont use both sets at the same time.  If yoire doing multi valves in series, Its wise to plumb in a standalone relief valve just after pump so this cant happen.

I installed a tandem pump on mine one section runs the skidder as it always was and the other section is for the loader you might need to put a relieve valve in the loader circuit due to loader banks not having a adjustable relive valve. If you dont have the loader hooked up just put a loop line sending the oil back to tank
