I'm doing a restoration on my Grandad's double bit axe.  I ordered a proper handle from House Handle and received it today.  Big Thumbs Up!!!  No knots at all, no finish, and the grain is almost perfect.  I paid an extra $2 to have it hand picked and it was well worth it.

Had me confused there for a minute, (not hard to do) visual images of a large handle attached to a house in some way. All ways breaking handles out of something, l will check them out.
Old doesn't bother me, its the ugly that's a real bummer.

Got it about 80% in.  Broke it in right during the process...  Cut my self on the axe and bled on the handle.   :D

you've got to watch the" House Handle" you tube video,  It's quite amazing how they buzz those handles.  Check it out.           I have no affiliation just neat stuff.                       Lazerdan

I have purchased many handles from them, from hammer to axe to even wheel barrow. Good selection at real good prices.

I previously bought some hatchet, axe, and broad axe handles from them (hard to find bent broad axe handles).

I went and watched the videos.  Those machines look older than me and twice as tired.
