Common cold!!!

Is getting to be a common pain in the butt!!! 2 weeks and still can't shake it!!

About 2 weeks here in the NW too!  Cough, congestion, stuffed up, all the same stuff. :-\

I fed my cold a concoction of honey,water, & gin.
Got rid of it in a lot less than 2 weeks.

   Orange juice (lots of it) and aspirin. I had a runny nose and could not sleep much last week. Housebound due to the snow but when finally escaped to Rite Aid got some of their store brand remedy that dried up my sinuses fastest ever had.  At least I could get some rest.

I'll pass on the gin, thank you very much. :D I feel your pain, I go through this every year. My doctor prescribes Flonase, I take it in the aqueous form because the spray dries out my nasal passages and results in nose bleeds. OJ and Aspirin help as well.

Here I am in FL and been fighting a cold since Saturday, taking Zicam and dayquill/nyquil as well as OJ.
GAB I like your method ESPECIALLY the gin part as I am a martini lover.

At the recommendation of my pulmonologist I had a pneumonia shot this week. Having had the crud three times already I think it was probably a wise move.
