 8)  ;D ;D ;D Well my new Husqvarna 372xp showed up last night.  I can hardly wait to test out all 24" of its awesome cutting power this weekend.   :oEspecially since I just ran out of firewood.   :o

My safety helmet and extra chains showed up today.  Im picking up my Husky safety gloves and chaps from the local dealer tomorrow.

I sell Husky and Stihl and sure do like the 372xp. Powerful, light and reliable. Leaves the old 038 in the dust although I have not tried the MS440. The bigger Stihls are too expensive and central Alberta is definately not big timber country.

Hi
I sell Dolmar and RedMax but I do like the 372. It is one of best saws they ever built. I would suggest that you buy them while you still can. Husky now has their new 455 Rancher, 570 and the 575, on the market. The new saws use the polymer crank case, like the 350. That adds more weight to the saw. The new 375 is about two pounds heavier then a 372. I am not sure how they run yet, I will let you know. I am going to a dealer show on Thursday and I will run a few.

I was only going on what the others had told me. It looks like the 455 has the polymer case and the 570-575 will have the good split magnesium case. I haven't had the opportunity to look at them yet. I will check them out on the 11th of this month, at a show. I hope to get a good look, inside of one of the new saws. I am curios as to whether I can utilize the extra air ports they are using and flow air/fuel both through them.

I can't see the 570/575 using the polymer crankcase. They are not available in Canada yet so I would be be really interested to see your thoughts on them.
