I need to get some more blocks shipped from Mid-Oregon to the Sacramento area and looking for trucking options.  I put a post out on eShipping and Uship but was wondering what other sites or options are out there.  I only need three pallets of goods moved 553 miles and the first quote I got was higher than my shipment of 28 pallets!

Are there other places I can check, truck stops to visit, etc?  I did a calc on UPS.com and they are nearly as much as my big shipment.

Go to a truck stop and put up a note on the load board . Freight is cheap going south , there is very little going back south and the trucks from south of the border will haul just to cover fuel .
A bunch of chainsaws a BT6870 processer , TC 5 International track skidder and not near enough time
