Yesterday I started my mill as usual loaded a log and hit the autoclutch switch.
The blade engaged but the engine didn't  speed up.
Checked the leads to the throttle solenoid and there was no power there.
Fiddled around for a while then called the guru at WM northeast.
He told me a couple of things to try which i did and discovered that the bell crank that lifts the engine had come out too far to engage the magnetic sensor.
Now to solve that mystery.
I have a new battery operated dewalt grease gun and I used it to grease the pivot shaft.
I did notice that the shaft came out a little when I put the grease in.
Pawing around in the area I found a big washer laying on the spot just below the shaft.
Called back and was informed that there should be a cotter pin holding this washer and a bronze bushing in place to position the shaft.
the cotter pin is sheared off completely allowing the shaft to move.
Maybe too much pressure from the grease gun? It also is very close in there and my old fingers cant get the job done and I can only see in there with a mirror, just not enough hands.
Oh well my son is coming tomorrow and the issue will be taken care of hopefully.
In order to saw i just pushed the shaft back in and it worked yesterday and all day today.
