The only thing I can think of is that the section I saw was the heaviest marked unit. Maybe the rest was just a thinning. The unit I saw was comprised of marked timber that probably would average 16 count loads. From one viewing area I could almost count 4 to 5 loads at 16 count for each. I'm calling a viewing area jus what I could see straight in front of my without turning my head. I would gather the entire 1,500 acres would not be cut near that heavy...surely not.

The haul would be to Russellville and I believe it's around 140 mi.

Hauling pine 140 miles would sure take alot of meat of the bone....

i get the trucking part, thats a awful long haul. density is what is bugging me. i get that timber there may be alot thinner than what im used to but the tonnage per acre is blowing my mind. i still think my math may be off.
