Does anyone have experience with a 170A Serco loader?  I'm looking at a 2005 model mounted on a truck, and wondering about reliability and any problems they tend to have.  JD powered.

I have a small Serco 4000 loader on my Timberjack forwarder, and I like it, I'm wondering if their big loaders are any different.

I've ran one. Good loaders. No real problems to speak of. They still have it and is used on a regular basis. Deere engine lever controls. The bucket broke a lot (not a serco problem) and the main boom pin weld around the boss cracked by the cab. It was cracked for years and they never welded it. Finally broke loose and bent the cab. Rewelded it and it's working fine. The hydro oil would over heat but the p/o had a processor table on it and it was switch back to a slasher tray and it was not plumbed right. But only noticed it on very hot days. Good luck. Good loader. Popular around here.
