After replacing the cylinder gasket on stihl 044, the choke valve on the carburetor sticks in the choked position. I pulled the starter til fuel came out the muffler :-[. Wasnt fun. I must have not attached some linkage or something properly when it was put back together. I have a part # 1128 120 0625 but I'm having trouble confirming it is a walbro and finding an appropriate drawing for it. Pictures are coming   ::) but slowly. Is the choke valve stem supposed to be interlocked with something else in choke linkage or just spring loaded?

The few times it has occurred when I repair a 44 or 46 (aka 1128 series) is when the carb nuts were unevenly tightened or over tightened.
Try loosening them with the choke shutter stuck.
99% of the time it becomes unstuck.
Once this happens re-tighten the carb nuts. I use two fingers to tighten them not a fist
