Added a blower

I have a Wood boiler that was built similar to a Central boiler unit. I added a blower, that's piped through the door. Once the blower shuts down & intake flap closes. The stove begins scavenging air through the small cooling holes in the motor housing. I duct taped the holes shut, it works great. 2 holes left open allows enough air to keep fire from going out when stove isn't calling for heat. I need some type of solenoid valve in front of the blower to kill the draft leak. Any ideas? Thanks!

No ideas for ya but wanted to say welcome to the Forum!

Sounds like you need a flap downstream from the blower lifted by a solenoid.
Some pics would help.
Leaving the cooling holes taped shut could overheat the fan motor.
