At a quick read,that does not make much sense.  :P   But when I let it sink in,it does make sense.

I got some photos of the front field after I mowed it and the back field before. Even with the water in a fwew spots I was able to get it mowed. No way I could let it go another 3 weeks.

You are doing what I did this past weekend, today, and will be doing for the next couple of weeks.  Maintaining property is a huge responsibility. 

We had some strong straight line winds that came through a while back and I had a Forester looking at 40+ trees that are laying down.  This is spread out over 200 acres so it may be doubtful that it will be economically possible to get a logger to be interested.  It's a sad sight to see 30"+ Red Oak and Tulip Poplar down that may go to waste.  I can do what I can but I can only do so much.  :-\

I say that about my land. I can only do so much.But I am trying. Just took the bush hog through about a acre that I have never mowed before. Yes there was rocks,but nothing like what is up by the sawmill. I can't even get the 5 foot wide bush hog between some of the rocks. It's a very nice smooth piece of land.Yes another project,I will just add it to the 10 I have going. :
