We have a long tradition of family fireworks displays mainly because it's fun, but also brings families together, as our kids grow up, on the 4rth of July.  In Alabama, we can buy pretty decent fireworks, and more importantly, can legally shoot them.

This is today's finale, 38 multiple shot mortar rounds, 6 multi shot cakes, 3 banks of whistlers, and some other assorted stuff thrown in.  Not bad for a driveway fireworks display.

YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust
