So what am I mocking up? (Yes, that is an o, not a u.)  :)

Ah, I see now. It's stocks for two people side by side. The top beam goes over their necks, and gets spiked down to the beam below it.

They will be around 6 foot loong, the cut offs make the hench parts.

Out with the old rotten bench that is beyond repair this year. Tammy is reclaiming screws then I'll bop it into firewood lengths. Time for a couple new benches.

Good use for all those cedar cants you have.
