That looks like the same washing machine I bought for the wife except it's a different colour.

It's a cement mixer that has a little buildup.
Looks like somone has been doing a little chipping away.
I used to put a few bricks in a dry mixer and let it turn awhile to keep it reasonably clean. Sure is noisey.

This is a Jaeger cement mixer that I bought off Ebay and hauled home from Dayton, Oh.  Ya know them people in Ohio gots lots of neat junk. Seems like I make an awful lot of trips to Ohio and they must all use Ebay. :D  The mixer is kind of unique in that it can almost mix a constant load of cement.  The big hopper at the back holds the next batch while the one in the drum mixes and then a door is opened and that charge drops in and the hopper can be reloaded. So there's always one mixing and one waiting to go in.  This is the super deluxe model and even came with the drum filled to the top of the fins with cement. :(  Haytrader was right on with what it was and the chipping. I must have air hammered a 1/2 ton of cement out of it.  Got it all apart now and have done some welding and hammering on it.  I coated the outside and inside of the drum with epoxy yesterday and it ready for a new coat of paint today.  Might have to inquire with Marcel about the paint scheme for it.
I see the pictures showed up. The new system takes a little getting used to.
