  I am going to fire up the smoker today. I got one of those beer can chicken riggs and that works real well in the smoker. Going to have a couple of racks of ribs to the upper rack, chicken in the 2nd rack, a pan of water with apples cut up in it over the coals and drive the neighbors crazy! Course the neighbors are my brothers so they will be over for dinner :)

I found I get my best somke flavor by using green hickory limbs, and lucky for me I have a bunch of that in the yard.

Gosh, I'd sure love to as that meal sounds wonderful.

Sounds like a "Northeast Forestry Forum" cookout will have to be had this summer. Gosh, what a gather that could be!

I make a mean home-made pecan pie and some melt in your mouth sweet potatoes!

Jim, we are sittin down at 6:00, I'll bet driving slow it would only take you 3 hours :D.

I just took the Black Eyed Peas out of the freezer that we put up last year.

I dont think it would take three hours....even as slow as i drive.
