Have always been interested in producing my own colored mulch. Saw a couple advertisements of CP-118 chip processors that were for sale. Has anyone used one of these interesting looking machines? Seems like the easy entry level machine if I already have a chipper. Compared to other options the price seems comparably low for a one pass machine. Combine this with a bagger and your off and running for a new business opportunity.
Thanks

What size chipper do you have?  You already know the amount of maintenance that it involved with a chipper.  That machine would need an operator/mechanic constantly.

Currently I have a 18" pto powered chipper that we use on your 100 hp tractor. We have had pretty good luck with it so far as we chip all of the brush, lumber scraps from sawmill, and unmarketable wood from the forest.
Currently use the chips for compost, tree colors, and for forest trail construction.

I do not know how to link to a former thread, but this discussion has come up on this forum before and specifically discussed the rotochopper.  I think it is all about regional  market/competition.
