In Canackistan we have a beautiful website called Kijiji that we all place our adds on to sell stuff. I can search whole provinces in a ingle selection. When looking for used mills in the USA I have heard most people use Craigslist to sell. How does a person search whole states to see if there are mills for sale or so you have to just keep map near by and keep searching cities. Also is there an app or website used by east coast sellers that I should be using to search.

Thanks

Lee

Seems like craigslist is on the out I have gave up on it. So many of the adds are fake when you email them they want you to contact them by a different email. I use Facebook market place now

Searchtempest will search within X miles of a zip code. Finding the right search key words is tricky.

Then there are the yahoos that gum up the works by putting every key word imaginable in their ads.  What makes them think I'm going to suddenly be interested in their worn out Chevy Malibu if my search is for sawmill?

Try the Forum's sponsor ," The Sawmill Exchange" if you haven't already.
Thirty plus years in the sawmill/millwork business. A sore back and arthritic fingers to prove it!

You can also try "All of Craigslist" as a search engine. Some items do fall through the cracks,it's not perfect but easier then trolling city by city.
Yes,choosing how you word your search is important,,but also like rolling dice.

Second vote for search tempest, that's how I found my mill.

Facebook marketplace is the big one now, but using it without an account and getting friends or family to make contact and dealing with random search areas has proven to be quiet frustrating.
