Just a quick post to introduce myself. I've been reading threads as a guest for a while now trying to learn a little bit about milling.  Seems to be some very good information to be found here

Welcome to the forum. There is more than a little bit to learn about sawing.  ;D  Even a little bit about food on here too.  :)

Welcome to the FF. You look to be about 218 miles south of me. You're not far from the NC WM office if you want to swing by and talk with Jim and Tyler and crew. Let them know if interested and come to their next open house. Even if you don't select WM just watching others saw and talking with other sawyers you will get the basics and pick up some tricks to make your sawing more efficient. Stop by if you are ever in this area.

Absolutely right about being more than a little bit to learn. I'm brand new to it and recently purchased a Timbery m100 from Joe at WM Carolina. They are fine folks out there and have been more than helpful.

Picked up my mill in early January but I've only been able to run a couple times due to all the rain.
