I have not seen any mention of the beautiful cutting boards that Larry Copas donated for the Pig Roast Raffle, but if you saw them they were beautiful and exceptionally well built.  I for one thought that they were the best gifts of the day, especially when you consider that Larry took a great deal of his own time and skils to craft them specifically for the event.  I was green with envy when I did not win one for my wife  :(  Great job Larry 8)

Larry my hat is off to you for such a wonderful gift to the event!
All the best,

Your right about those cutting boards !!! They were actually too nice to use  :)
I also like the wooded bowls that were donated. They also were pretty
neat. I know I should know, But I don't remember, Who make them ???

Thanks for bringing that up Mike, I'm a little slow these days. Those cutting boards were awesome. Thanks again Larry!

Quartlow provided the bowls. We had the pleasure of bringing them from Sawlex and admiring them until the piggy roast.

Dewwood provided a gift certificate to logrite tools.

I know if I try at this moment to list folks that donated stuff for door prizes I'll forget somebody, so thanks to everyone! THere were a lot of people that donated time and effort as well and I want to thank them too. :)

Thanks to OneWithWood for the "ARKY" look-alike shirts too. That was a fun time, and just in the knick of time as we had to scurry around getting changed when ARKY's truck pulled in Friday afternoon. Not many were as 'slim and trim' as the real McCoy (and as DanG pointed out, some stretching caused them to change to pink), but OWW had the name looking pretty authentic. With a little whimpering Kirk managed to talk someone out of one so he didn't feel left out.  ;D That shirt was cooler than what SPanky was wearing the next day, for sure.

The really funny part of the story was that the whole thing was built on a mistake.   Jeff told us that OWW had started off getting the shirts because of a story Arky told about having to correct a shirt order that was mispelled. "Arkansawer" instead of "Arkansawyer".

OWW orderd the shirts to be printed with "Arkansawer" on them.  The person who was doing the printing saw that he had mispelled "Arkansawyer" and promptly corrected it.   Otherwise, the shirts we had on would have read "Arkansawer".   What's the chances of that happening? :)

Now someone correct me with the real facts. :D :D

That would have been a good time for OWW to clame that he ment for it to saw "Arkansawer" and that "Arkansawyer" was a mistake - thus getting the shirts at reduced price for the missprint.  :D
