I recently had 4 dead SYPs cut down and I sawed it live edge (both sides) even though I didn't need it because I couldn't let it go to waste. It is now air dried and I am considering kiln drying it. There is blue/gray stain and insect holes in the outer boards so I am thinking it will sell better if kiln dried and maybe even sterilized. Widths vary from 6" to 18" with taper, of course, thicknesses are mostly 1" but some are 2" and lengths from 9 to 13'. What is more likely to sell better, as is? or kiln dried? Can provide pics if needed.

For me, it would sell better kiln dried.  One good use is live edge shelves.

Folks love blue pine for the aesthetics of it, so the odds of it being used inside where it will be admired are much greater - thus it needs to be KD and HT to have a happy customer.

Thanks, Kiln drying is the way I was leaning. Oddly, I am running out of air drying space under my barn shed and right now my kiln is empty so KDing solves 2 problems.
