Anybody able to help ID this old girl? It has remnants of IEL stickers on it but I cannot figure out what model it is. Any input appreciated.

Normally Clinton's saws are yellow in color. This model D35 (pictured below) is blue in color since it was sold for European Export(serial number followed by letter E).
It could be sold to any company , so it did not come with decals. Also the muffler has a different shape to meet special requirements such as noise...on any export saws. The biggest importer of Clinton product was a French company named "Motostandard"...Sold without decals.

THANK YOU!! This is the only saw in the 60 saw lot I have not been able to identify. I was walking down the wrong road with IEL as the make. Can't figure out what the remnants of their sticker is on there for. Maybe they bought some to brand and sell, who knows?
With your Clinton D35 I plugged that into google and it came with this photo and a couple other variants of it like yours are. My saw is just like the one in the photo. Thanks again, Much appreciated! Amazing what a bit of correct information can accomplish .

It's alive! The muffler I wouldn't call it one all it does is divert the exhaust. It's wide open inside. Noisey old girl!

:D I have wondered what purpose a 'muffler' serves on those old beasts, it sure doesn't quiet things down. I have a Husky 35 the po claimed wouldn't start, I think he didn't like the noise.
