I have been informed that my regular saw-blade supplier will take 4- 6 weeks to ship me blades for my WM LT 35 can anyone recommend someone who can do faster? I live in NW Arkansas.

I bought my last blades from Menominee Saw and they were very reasonable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know whats going on with WM I ordered my blades on the 27 of last month after nothing coming I had to email them twice only to finally get an email saying they wouldn't be processed until the 17th of this month then up to 4 to 6 weeks to get them. They used to be top rate service.

Maybe it shouldnt but I think it helps to call.  Things are crazy everywhere not just WM. I got a return call late yesterday and the rep had been on the phone continuously from early in the morning.  The day before we also talked and he had called me back after 6 without even realizing that he was supposed to be home an hour earlier.

Anyway if you do call in about blades might ask whether there is inventory anywhere else not just at the location you're calling.  Last fall I got my order of blades earlier by doing that.

Im finding that lately using the covid virus is becoming a common excuse for poor customer service. I understand that things are screwy these days but Im really looking for a different blade supplier.

I'm using @Cutting Edge who is the Kasco guy.  Kasco does not stock the length of blade for my TK, but I still get them in a couple of weeks with free shipping.  Another reason I use them is the .050 1-1/2" 7 degree band is the very best band made for my mill.

I also buy all my Kasco blades from Cutting Edge.  Received a box of blades last week. Were delivered in less than 5 business days. Lead times are directly related to availability of length, thickness, width, and tooth profile.  Free shipping is also a great incentive.

The supply chain on many items is still royally messed up. Very few products are 100% sourced and manufactured domestically.  I had to call WM last week for a $25 relay, the customer service rep didn't have access to them in the warehouse and gave me info on what to look for on the open market. Flat out told me a lot of their supplies are not on hand in the usual quantity. He then went above and beyond and sourced them from their production facility 1/2 hour away and had them shipped to me.  Broken supply lines and non stop new sales will create holes in inventory. Add onto that special work procedures that the company must follow or the health department will shut them down.

As a small mfg myself I understand what they are dealing with.

If you can't get them from WM, or Kasco, as Bruno said, try Joe Maine, his quality is top notch and his pricing is excellent.
