it is equipped with a proper step stool.

I constructed this stool to be as light as possible while maintaining high strength. The leg tenons are tapered to never loosen, than wedged, and glued in place. This stool is walnut and cherry. Finished with Livos Kunos natural oil.

I love cherry sapwood and try to utilize it on many pieces I build.  Takes a little extra effort to dry boards with sapwood but I like the results.

That's really lovely, Larry! I love the soft curves and the tapered out legs, great design and execution!

I like the way the walnut and cherry compliment each other.

That's beautiful!  I grew up having a roll around stool in the kitchen.  When I built and moved into our house, I assumed we would have a stool like that.  My wife who is only 5' 5" wouldn't hear of having a stool.  Maybe she would like to have something like that though, that could be stored out of the way.

Great job. I can't let my wife see this one. She only has a $5.00 rickety plastic stool and keeps asking for a better  one.

There's a fine line between turning firewood into beautiful things and beautiful things into firewood.

All of my lower cabinets have pullouts and the stool can be stored there.  Keeps it out of the way and easy to get to.  Not sure if I will keep my stool there or in the pantry.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys! :)  I got good feedback from a few locals and trying to see if their is enough interest to make a small production run.

Your attention to the small details and impeccable finish work is much appreciated. That's a purdy stool.
