So strange to see Willie in a suit and tie, he never felt comfortable in that look. It wasn't until he moved from Nashville back to Texas, and developed the look and style he's best known for, that he really hit his stride.

Also side note see all the people waving fans in the audience, there was no AC in the Ryman then and it could get up over 100°. The story went something like Lester Flatt once told the Opry manager the older musicians wanted AC installed, and when they told him it would cost over a million, he stopped and said: "You know it's not really that bad here after all..." :D

They need to purge that video like pulling down all our old Confederate Monuments and just try to remove that part of history like everything else people don't like.

I knew Willie was a prolific song writer before he made it big as a singer. The suit and tie and haircut just aren't Willie.

Yes they absolutely love the cancelling here in Canada, we have historic statues being taken down, roads being renamed, areas being renamed,  it's a poop show.

If the country folk got together and said "pith off commies, go back to moscow" theyd quit.  That yall let them have power is why they have it.

The problem is mortgage debt prevents the masses from being willing to spend a day or two in the county jail for brawling to keep their way of life. So little by little youll lose that freedom anyways.

I saw Willie play a few years ago when we went to see my son's band play.  Pretty disappointing.  He has really slipped the last few years.  Still draws a big crowd though. Heard he had trouble sleeping in the house when he's not on tour, so goes out and sleeps in the bus.

I've watched a few shows like that, where the performer was well past their prime, shouldn't have even been charging for tickets really. However, I went to watch the late Doc Watson one time, if any of you are familiar with him. I knew who he was and some if his music, but wasn't aware of his age or anything. I was reading the program and got counting from his birthday that was listed...hmm he was 83 I think. I was afraid maybe his abilities had slipped. Well ol Doc came on and my fears were BURIED! He absolutely tore it up, hands down the best show I've ever been too👍👍
