Any of you folks out there have a Norwood LL24 manual?  I was looking to order some log stops and the parts person at Norwood asked if I had my manual so I could give her the part number.  Seam they don't have their own manual or parts diagrams for older mills.  It took 3 phone calls and multiple emails to even get someone online to ask.

I don't have any experience with that mill, I emailed Norwood support though and got this back,
"It's possible, with some modification, to make the LM2K Dog/Rest kit fit the LL24, but that would be the only option. That would be LM2K-DRKIT. Suggest to him to email us and we'll be happy to help him out."

I explained that you have attempted contact multiple times and only got one response, so he (Tom) said he'll search for your question and email you back. They got bit pretty good by the lack of labor bug and supply chain bottlenecks, that's why you didn't get an answer right away and the one you got was lacking.

Hopefully that helps in some way, shape or form.

This forum is awesome! It is great to have over 100 fellow sawyers view this thread in less than 24 hours. Norwood did reach out to me via email.  I am an IT guy by trade so it is just frustrating to see the lack of tech employed by these companies.  I love my mill.  If Norwood put their parts diagrams and manuals online and listed what was discontinued they would save them selves and their customers a lot of frustration.

Are any forum members that have a Norwood mill having issues with communications?   Emails are almost non existent with an answer.   The phone (always long long wait)  and they are not returning messages.

Are other owners of other brands having the same issues?
Ohio Certified Tree Farm, Ohio Centennial Farms, Ashland County Soil Conservation Award., USDA/ASCS/FSA forest management(TSI) 1963 to present, retired educator, NOT retired farmer and a real farm shop to fix all my old equipment.

I haven't had any major issues. They've been very responsive, very helpful. From what I can tell, conversing with others, it seems like some of their staff are more helpful/responsive than others. I figure you probably get that most any place. I have heard similar feedback from the other big names as well.
