The meter reader forthe electric company was by the other day and offered to sell me his 4 sided Berlin Planer.  He said it is a 4 head-six knife belt drive unit.  He did not say what the size capacity was as he was in a hurry to read all of the electic meters on the tree farm, 6.  What is the depth of knowledge and experience, anyone?

Frank,
My 10 cents for you is to make sure you can unload it before you bring it home...

ToooooooooShayyyyyyyy, turtle.  I told you how I got it off when I got it home.   Now all you have to do is get a 10 ton hydraulic jack and do the same thing. ;D

I'm not desperate enough to unload it with the roller method yet.  I had a bad experience involving my trailer and my first fork lift I brought home. At least I wouldn't be riding the planer this time.
