Was a nice day to be outside so I gathered up a couple saws, the W11B and the log trailer and headed out back. Fence rows are growing into the fields faster than can be kept up with, only time I cut live trees is knocking them back. Pretty lazy way to gather firewood eh? I am about 3 years ahead. Couple Cherrys and White Elms.

Thanks for sharing that Butch! I call it a laid back and enjoyable way to cut wood, which is the same as "lazy" I guess. More about recreation than efficiency. For me I'm "in the woods", playing with saws and adding to te woodpile.

Much smaller rig for me; Suzuki quadrunner and a cart. But I just love going out in the woods and harvesting dead fall, blow downs and damaged trees. Usually smaller stuff, but the recent storm blew over a nice size red oak that will be a fun project. Lotta trips on that one, but the more cart loads the better. :)

Yes Butch, the brush and trees grow out into the fields pretty fast. I do a lot of cutting on the edges of fields to knock the growth back and for the firewood.
Looks like you'll be doing some bucking and splitting.
