Drying bunks made from green lumber?

Just got my sawmill set up and working on my air drying bunks. Made my first bunk 10 feet long with 16" centers, similar to a deck. Made it from treated lumber I bought. I used 2x10 joist with 2x6 stingers. This gets the pule above the stringer so I can load and unload with forks. Then everything is setting on blocks for flow underneath.

Buying lumber to build bunks will get pricey. Any issues using green lumber I mill? Will they move to much as they shrink and dry?

I wouldn't know, the ground under the piles moving too much has been my issue  :D

Here is a video that I did on how I make my air drying platform.  In this video, it is built with 24" centers since I was drying 10/4 slabs on it.  For thinner lumber, I make them with 18" centers.  I like this style as it keeps the lumber off the ground by about 10".  This keeps good airflow under the pile to dissipate any damp air that settles at the bottom.  I like PT lumber since I sit these directly on the ground.  PT lumber is also a good deterrent for bugs.  PT lumber is expensive but it has went down a decent bit as of late.

Put stickers directly on top of the green bunks before you stack the lumber on them. With sufficient ventilation that should not cause a problem. My bunks have been dry for 10+ years but I still put stickers on them.

I didn't adequately address your question. Green boards could warp and affect the flatness.
I was thinking of how to prevent moisture from green bunks being in direct contact with lumber you are drying by placing stickers on the bunks.
