I had to stop sawing one afternoon this week . The up /down motor stopped 3,400 hours
One call to Woodmizer NY and they send out some new brushes.
Take it off the mill and pull the motor apart. What a dirty mess , should have serviced it much earlier. Cleaned it all up and back in business.
I will order some brushes for the power feed and clean and change them next weekend.
Woodmizer NY has some great folks

I have to say, every time I have spoken with Woodmizer Tech and sales, they have been great. Kudos to them, that type of customer support usually won't last without support from the top.

Starting with my Woodmizer dealer helps with way more than half of the problems I've run into.

When folks at the dealer can't help me solve my problem, they usually give me the name and number of the Indianapolis based person who can most quickly resolve my issues.  The thing I'm thankful for is their troubleshooting guidance over the phone.  It saves throwing un-needed parts at the problem.

I've spent too much money and time on "fixes"I didn't need to go it on my own anymore.

Detect and correct is the way with the Detecting part the hardest of all repairs. Throwing parts at something is usually a big money drain. the manual has a maintenance schedule for the mill. If we follow it , it does save down time for sure.
I like the winter season for my replacing of the parts as I have a heated shop and do not saw very much in the winter.
