I have been running a 1990's Resaw that came with my 93 LT40HD. I kept it when I sold the the 93 and have really started using it in the last 4 years. A great moneymaker for sure. I need a wider resaw for the job I'm working on now. We just finished resawing 5,000 bd ft of barn board which I will get to kiln dry and sterilize.
The customer has 1000bd ft of 12-20" barn board that needs resawing into 3/4" boards. It's useless to try and resaw on the mill but the resaw works great.
I have a line on a brand new still in the crate RS2 from 2019 that a gentleman bought and never used, it comes with the shingle maker attachment.
I haven't looked very much on YouTube or anything and thought I would check in and see who has one.
Who has a RS2?

I have one that lives on my 35, modified the hold down pressure and added infeed and outfeed 10' skate rollers, been quite happy with it.  One day I will add another hold down wheel to the outfeed side of the band, that's about the only mod she really needs.

SS it doesn't have a hold down in the outflow side?

The RS1 has a hold down wheel coming in and 1 coming out . Only 4" wide each but I can move them across to hold the 12" wide boards.

No, only on the teeth side of the band.  The European model seems to have both sides factory.  Go figure.

another question SS , can you fit a bit wider board thru? My RS1 says 12" but I can sneak a 123/4" board thru.
The job we are on really does not want me to edge the barn boards, so I'm hoping I can do +18" by a bit.

I have a 16" resaw but it's not the Woodmizer one.

Mine is with an .045 thick carbide tipped resaw band, and is used primarily for resawing kiln dried lumber into veneer, and occasionally thick mahogany into thinner boards for boat work.
