Just wanted to say that the knowledge on this site is amazing. I don't ask many questions just spend most of the time reading other people's posts. I do however have a question about  soft wood powder post beetle. I watched the latest video of Hobby Hardwood and Mr Milton touched lightly on the beetle. I know about the hardwood one by experience but have never seen the soft wood one. Does that mean that eastern white pine should also be heat treated? Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge on this site I have learned a lot and enjoy continually learning for everyone's YouTube and posts.

Thanks
Paul

Softwood is susceptible to Old House Borer's and termites, so yes it should be sterilized if these pests are a problem in your area.
