Oddly worn chain

I bought a Husky saw recently and the PO threw in a bunch of chains.  Generally speaking they showed signs of either being normally dull or badly sharpened.

I've been working through the batch sharpening each chain and then doing some test cuts.  The first 4 came out very nicely.  The next one required resharpening and on inspection the trailing edge of the teeth on one side is rounded.  I don't think I've ever seen that.  It's enough that if this chain doesn't cut well after the last sharpening, I'll put it aside and go to another chain.

Do you have any idea what would produce that type wear on only one side?

Photos would help with this diagnosis, but my fist thought is the chain hit or caught something on the one side of the bar.   Like a rock on the ground when finishing a cut.

My brother suggested the chain may have been installed backwards at some point. The PO might have done that.
