Moving onto some inherited land in SE VA. 100 acres, 90% untouched heritage hardwood forest. Anyone have leads for VA foresters? I have no intention of selling off the timber. On the contrary, I want to turn the land into a sustainable resource, start a small sawmill operation to produce some high quality hardwood material for local hobbyist. Any leads out there??
