I think all Bosch plugs are now made in India, you might try NGKs if you have more trouble with the Bosch.

You can't go wrong with Champion cj7y.

wiam

I would not put a Champion in MY chainsaw unless it was below freezing in my house.

Because it probably would not run long enough to cut a stick of wood.
Did I mention that I hate champion plugs?

Will

Tom

Yes, you mentioned it, but I don't understand why they are bad.

I have never had good lick with champion spark plugs I like ngk and auto lite I dislike champion and densco I would buy denso before champion. I think bousch are ok plugs.

I swear by NGK plugs!  Each to his own.  If you find something works for you, go for it!

I don't like Champion either. Wasted too much time after doing a tune up only to discover the new plug was a dud.

You took the 'exact' words out of my mouth. Same experience. The last one cost me a lot of money, until I finally put in another new plug, this time a NGK.

I don't understand how a company making Champion can go downhill so fast, but I suspect it is competition. They ride the wave as long as it lasts, and in the meantime leave room for the competition.

I use Bosch also, it's what the dealer has and I have always had good luck.

Hi ya's
years ago used to run champion plugs in my saws and had a good run with them up untill about  10 years ago (stoped useing them after haveing a lot of dud plugs that would just give up ) then swaped  to Bosch  or NGK   only thing i have noted tho is the bosch plugs  seem to fit my saws and other german made gear i have a bit better

No experience with bad chain saw plugs, but, on cars I have had bad Champion and Autolite plugs right out of the box that messed up tuneups on my own truck. So, now I run Bosch plugs in my 1971 Ford :-)

I've had "poor" experiences with champion plugs as previouisly mentioned. They just don'y last very long out of the package so just don't use them if I can help it.  :-[

Champion plugs used to be good up to to about 25 years ago. Now they are rock bottom.
In my experience NGK are top notch, closely followed by Bosch. I wouldn't use a Champion now, even if I was heavily re-imbersed for the privilege.
