I am new here and really enjoy reading all the post.
I have a question?
I mixed 5 gal of gas with 2 cycle outboard engine oil. Is there a difference between outboard 2 cycle oil and regular 2 cycle oil?

The answer is YES, use that 5gallons you mixed in an outboard. Do not use it in a late model chain saw! It will damage it.

Outboards being water cooled will run at a lower temp than an aircooled (chainsaw) engines so the oil is formulated different because of this.

Use the correct stuff in each engine.
