Last monday I talked my lovely wife into calling into the resturant she works at and cancelling her shifts for the week.  Once she got coverage we left for a week at Hampton Beach NH.  And what a week it was, only one chilly morning, with one day in the 70's and the rest over 80.  Clear sunny days as well as waves much larger than usual for up here.  In the ocean every day, with the famous seafood fest on fri through sunday.  Nice vacation considering it is past what we call the season up here.  Now back, I am looking for the delivery of my free heat machine stove next week.

Sounds like a good time Woodmills.  I am envious.
I can't wait till we get our one and only
kid out of high school.  He's scheduled to graduate in May 2007 then the wife and I can
take some time off during the non-peak after labor day tourist season.

blue by day, orange by night and green in between

What is a "free heat machine stove...."  ?  ???  Raises all kinds of ideas in my head, none of which may be true.  :D

Is the heat free or is it the stove which comes at no charge? ;)
A very wise man once told me . Grand children are great, we should have had them first

finally after all these years wanting to I ordered an otdoor wood boiler about 3 weeks before the hurricane tradgedy.  Little did i know how much more expensive oil and gas were going to get before it even got delivered.

I got the whole package....... stove and piping, water heater heat exchanger plus new water heater as mine was 20 plus years, hot air heat exchanger for my forced air furnace and an on the wall heater for the one large addition that was heated separatly by gas.

Figured my average usage of gas and fuel oil was around $3400 at a $2 per gallon price plus around 50 a month for electric hot water.  If fuel goes to $3 I will have a 2 year payback.

The best thing is that you can look at the prices of oil, etc. without wincing now.

I bet those things are getting real popular right now.

So, how did I end up here anyway?
