Howdy! I really like this site. Very interesting and informative!
I have a barn here at the Stoneplie that I had better do some major repairs too before it becomes a lumberpile! Need to replace some joists, posts, and a few other things.
Barn was built late 1800's By Hartman & Hoshall of Glen Rock, PA. Been trying to find information on them.
Thoughts on doing the work and information on the builders will be appreciated.

I have been up North 3 times this year and that is about my quota for the year.  Wished you were closer as I love to repair old barns.  We just had one on the front page of the paper that they burned instead of repairing.  It was built in 1886 and was a fine barn in use till a storm put a tree through one end.  Said it was cheaper to brun down and waste it all then remove or repair.   ???
Can not help you as you are out of my range but hope you find someone and fix the barn.   When you do pictures and post would be nice to see.
