You can keep the mosquitoes up there in your neck of the woods.Still cooling down at night. We did have a few nights in the 40's,but it's back down to the low 30's at night.Fine by me,less blackfiles that way. It's really starting to dry up.Hardly had a mud season this year. Now if the postings would come off the roads.Still no peepers yet.

Raining at a good pace here since noon. Was sunny and bright this am. Funny how the weather can change. We used to say in Rupertland, 'If you don't like the weather, wate 5 mins.' ;D

Saw my first tree swallows today along the shore of Lake Ontario. Bug season must be real close now. Ughhh, black flies again.

SwampDonkey

Tree swallows come here ahead of barn and bank swallows, they can feed on berries along the coast and rivers.

This is actually our hottest time of year. Go figure. It is because you all start warming up and there is no influence from the Jet Stream and at the same time, we are well into our dry season. In another month, the rainy season will start, which cools things off.

Of course, for us, the hottest time, and the coolest time only vary by ten degrees. I know we have your sympathy on that.  ::)

So, how did I end up here anyway?

Minnesota_boy

It's about the same here.  The difference between our highest temperature and the lowest temperature is only about 170 degrees F.  It sometimes does change 50 degrees in a single 24 hour period though.  :)

I just got home from Vancouver. Daffodils were blooming there.  8)
