 That was fun can we have another ?  ;D  I had it scaled out to big like the size of a bow and arrow reel and here it was just a tiny u-joint cap  >:(

Finally got a chance to read the post through and see what everyone guessed.  Had a vision that it was probably was a u-joint cap and was gonna guess that but sawhead beat me to the punch.  Guess I shoulda looked at the post earlier. ;D

I think I got a mate to that cap Boss, several actually.  ::)

I had a sort of bump, thud when I eased on or off the gitty-up-go pedal in the dually. I suspected the grease zerk-less driveshaft to be the culprit. Ok, actually I was praying it wasn't the rear end.  ;)

The last U-joint at the rearend was so bad that two of the ends of the cross were worn down to an oval about half as thick as they shoulda' been.  :o

Coupla' hunrid clams later it's back to smooth.  ;D

Course while he was back there he pointed out that it's time fer 4 new skins on da back.... it's always sumat!  ::)
