I'm looking for imput! I really like the looks of the Dinasaw auto sharpener. Has anyone seen one in action or own's one? Are there some brands that have worked out for people??? Don

Hi Don, welcome to the Forestry Forum! 8)

I'm sure many will jump in with new answers, but while you're waiting, you may want to do a search of past threads. There have been a number of them on this very topic.

I have 2 Dinos. I really like them because of the ability to sharpen any tooth profile. They take some time to learn the setups for different blades, but if you keep notes on your settings it's not too bad changing from one profile to another. I have one set up for softwwod blades with a 12* hook angle and the other set for hardwoods at 8*. The automatic is nice. You just put the blade on and turn on the sharpener. It will shut down when the blade is done. The hand crank is OK if you aren't doing alot of blades.

I have had one since 93 , thats in the last century  ;D It has sharpened many, many blades and has yet seen anything go wrong or have I had to change anything on it other then the stone , I would not hesitate to get another .
