There have been several times folks here have been looking for unit conversions. I found and have been using a real neat (and free) program for unit conversions.

Can't see one there for figuring out how many teeth on a specific size and diameter of sprocket.

I need to know how many teeth on a 4" diameter # 50 Chain sprocket.  Also need to know for 6 inch diameter as well

They never sell chain sprockets by the diameter, they are sold only by the number of teeth.

I've been using CONVERT for years and they have a custom scale facility that you can make your own conversion formula. 

Maybe some of our more talented hackers could try it.

  4.14 inch diam #50 sprocket has 19 teeth
   3.92 inch diam # 50 sprocket has 18 teeeth
   6.12 inch diam  #50 sprocket has 29 teeth
   5.93 inch diam #50 sprocket has 28 teeth


apparently they don't come in exact inch sizes.
