Posts overlapping ?

It started with my messages overlapping each other. I deleted them all but it started again pretty fast.
Now the whole forum has overlapping messages sometimes.

Anyone else have this problem ? What should I do ?

I'm using Firefox . I haven't performed surgury on it yet but my 2 previous browsers finally had to have parts removed as they were out of memory . They still don't work for long...

I'm not all that smart about computers and I have a Mac. I can't find "temporary internet files". Doesn't restarting wipe out those ??? Why not ?!?!?!?!?

So far haven't experienced anything like it, so don't understand.
Have to let the Mac users sort that one out. Sorry to hear you are getting 'overlapping' posts. :

Joan is it doing it with IE as well? I've been using Mozilla 5.0 (firefox) and not experienced it. My hunch is that its probably two things. First something in firefox that allows that to happen, and second is your computer at the time being low on virtual memory as the page loads.

Also, youi should be able to clear temp and cach files under tools, then clear public data.

Thanks, Jeff. I only see private data under TOOLS.... you mean that one ?

I refuse to use IE on this computer. It has jammed up 2 other computers ( one an Imac and one a PC) so they were not usable on the internet.

yea, thats what I meant. THis has been one of those dislexic days. The Dogs had to go out. Juno we take out on a leash because she likes to take off. I hooked the leash to ice instead, opened the door and watched juno run out into the back yard, cross over to the neighbors, then disappear down the road... :-\ :D

You click on that and you will get a list of options to delete.

Yea, she came back early this time. was only gone until about 2 o clock. Must be the 14 inches of snow on the ground and 10 degrees was enough to make her want to come back home.

You can go to (bootdisk.com) and click on utilities. Look under Registry & system Maint. There is a program named Easy Cleaner and it works well. (free to download) Check your startup files also, you may have a lot of programs running in the background eating up your memory. Also check for Mozilla updates.

Something happened earlier to me, also. I was reading a thread, and it seemed like two different topics going on at once. No, not like it usually happens. :D This was different. It's like there were two threads merged.

IOs this the same thing Sprucebunny discribed?

I had it happen the other day on a different website, but never on here. Its some sort of problem with firefox.
