Re-saw question

For background I'm thinking about a small re-saw.  Cant size will be less than 6" wide and length will be random up to maybe 10' long.  Most would be in the 6 to 8 foot length range.  I will be working by myself most of the time.  The Baker Model A is on the short list but if you have a favorite post your opinion.  Of course faster is better...quality of cut is a major concern. 

Biggest question at this point is the most efficient way to return the cants?
