I am working on trading a Shindaiwa. I could not find a serial # or even a model. The customer said the Ignition coil has failed. I checked the Shindaiwa web site, it says the coils have a Limited Lifetime warranty. Can you help me. Is this only on specific models? The model # was rubbed off the recoil housing. Is there a area where the serial # is located? It is a Big saw 20" bar, high air cleaner cover in back. Yea I know it could be anything. I am going to try and get it back in this week.
Thanks Marty

I'd say a 757 by your describtion. Check on acresinternet.com and go to chainsaw collectors.  Steve

The large saws were 488, 575, 577, 680, 695 and the 757 at 73.5cc.
They had a charging coil off the flywheel and spark coil feeding the spark plug.
