That's not a moth in post #19, but a Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta)

It's interesting that you say that they were flitting around and landing on you because that happens to be a trait of this particular butterfly.  They don't know why.  It may be because they land on ridges to look for mates.  It's a pretty one.  I don't know that I've ever seen one before.

I am posting this here because I didn't get any before shots. ::) These are gonna be Monarch Butterflys soon.  ;D  These caterpillars looked exactly like Jeff's #10 and #11 posts before this chrysalis stage. ;D
A friend gave them to us a day before this stage. They were munching like crazy on some leaves before this stage. I came home the next day, Viola!  :D
They are in a Domed Bowl that will allow they to fly out. Their sacks are becoming translucent and I think we will be able to see them soon. ;) You can see their dung in the bowl. It's bigger that mice turds. :D

Maybe a couple more days.

Jeff

That would be a Monarch then. :)

Yup, There is two of them. I guess they always have a buddy.
This picture is from a couple days ago, kinda in between stage before your able to see through. Looking at one of them tonight though I may have messed up and they may have got too much sun. Time will tell.  They are hanging from the top rim underside of the dome. There is a thread like looking thing hanging from their cocoons.
The glass and angle are not allowing for a better picture. I need Furby.

Looks like The Monarchs aren't gonna make it. They should have been out by now.
I think it was my fault. Brought them out into the screen room and left them in the morning sun a couple days. They may have been too hot. :(
