It's anything you want it to be. ;)

A saw gummer would be my guess.  Well it's not really a guess,  that's a saw gummer.  Is it home made?

Lets see the fridge is an International Harvester?  I used to have an IH freezer.

Well that's a relief! I don't have an IH, so mine must still be on the porch. Now what the heck is a saw gummer?

Bro. Noble

Woodbeard,

A gummer is used to gum out the gullets.  If you didn't they would get too shallow as you shortened the teeth by sharpening.

I just figgered everyone had a gummer in their shed :D

Hey Chet - that sounds like my dad! He would put his choppers in for eating peanuts otherwise they were wrapped in a paper towel beside his favorite chair. :D

The saw gummer was put together by my Great Great Uncle Russel Collins.  The stand is made out of windmill tower steel.  The other parts may have come from one that the wood was bad on?  Uncle Russel had an old circular mill.  I have no idea what make it was and don't remember much about it.  Grandpa said it didn't amount to much.  I remember the fridge being in Grandpa and Grandma's kitchen when I was a little fella.
