Is anyone else going?  I expect to be there Wednesday and maybe Thursday.  Among the hundreds (maybe thousands?) of interesting things to see there is the old Frick sawmill in action.  It's powered by a big old Case steam tractor during the show.
I was there in '05.  They were still rebuilding a bunch of stuff after the multiple hurricanes of '04.  John Deere was the featured tractor that year.  This year, it's Case.
Grandchildren, Bluegrass music, old tractors, trees and sawmills.  It don't get no better'n that!

Theres a bunch of guys going to be there. Burlkraft, Corley5, Nailhead for the northerners that I know of.
Just call me the midget doctor.

    Where in Florida?

Mark
Not all that far from you.  Fort Mead, down south of Lakeland and Bartow.
Read all about it http://www.floridaflywheelers.org
BTW, after I get done at the FF show, I'll be visiting friends in Beverly Hills - over the other side of Inverness from you.  Been to Bushnell many times.  Had a cousin at the Red Barn.

hmmmm was thinking of heading back up to Tenn. Thursday but this sounds interesting and close. I could put Tenn off a day or 2.

My advice on aging gracefully... ride fast bikes and date faster women, drink good tequila, practice your draw daily, be honest and fair in your dealings, but suffer not fools. Eat a hearty breakfast, and remember, ALL politicians are crooks.

Corley5

We'll be there Wednesday morning as early as I can get a five year old with a Disney hangover moving  ;) ;D

I'll be there Saturday, weather permitting. I've been a member for years, and love going to the shows. There's a LOT of stuff to see- wear good shoes, or bring a cart/tractor/scooter to get around on.
I hope my ship comes in before the dock rots!

Well, I made it back to NH last night.  The plane landed in yet another snowstorm  :'(  I was hoping some of that white stuff would disappear while I was away.  Instead, there's more than ever. >:(
Had a great time at the show.  Didn't make an connection with any FFers, unfortunately.  When Wednesday was over, I had me a pretty good sunburn.  Went back out Thursday and was a little more careful.  Not only that, I made a buddy at the Cushman building and he gave me the use of a golf cart for an hour or so.  Sure did help on the feet and also provided shade.  I was able to see some of the stuff I had missed the day before.
The show is great.  It's bigger than ever and a "must see" for anyone who likes that kind of stuff.  HUGE fleamarket, and the tractor stuff is great.  Next year, the featured tractor will be lawn and garden tractors.  I'm already hoping I can get there for that.
